In conjunction with Get Up & Go Havant, the Friends of Staunton Country Park (FOSCP) run a number of guided walks around Staunton Country Park.
On the first and third Tuesday of the month we run a shorter walk, alternating between the themes of flora and fauna and also the history and heritage of the park.
In addition, on the second and fourth Monday of each month, we are offering a longer 5k walk around the perimeter of the park for those who want to stretch their legs a little more.
These walks are becoming increasingly popular and to ensure their sustainability, we would like to enlist a number of like-minded people who would be able to assist in the running of these walks. The walks are 2 hours in duration, so anybody who could commit to 2/3 hours per week/month and would be interested in helping us, could they please contact email@example.com we would then arrange for an open session to discuss involvement.
